NHRA continues to race forward with a number of key initiatives, including a multiyear partnership with FOX Sports to televise NHRA events from the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, and the Pro Mod Drag Racing Series. FOX Sports networks aired more than 500 hours of programming throughout the year, highlighted by 20+ race-day shows, including eight on FOX’s national network, in addition to qualifying broadcasts throughout the weekend. NHRA fans continue to be some of the most loyal in any sport.

Position Summary:
The Help Desk Analyst performs a variety of technical support services related to day-to-day IT operational requests.

Location: Based in Indianapolis, IN Office - In-Person Attendance Required
FLSA/Salary: Non-Exempt/Part-time (20-24 hours per week)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage, process, and resolve all end user support requests for the Indianapolis location.
  • Execute hands on desktop technical support and networking support.
  • Configurations and troubleshooting of PCs, OSx, and network printers.
  • Provide hardware and software support for PC’s, OSx, Printers, Unifi equipment.
  • Racetrack responsibilities include setup, configure, and decommission of networks and peripheral devices during Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park events.
  • Provides technical assistance and support during events related to computer systems, hardware, or software, and isolates problems and determines and implements solutions.
  • Additional responsibilities as needed.

Minimum Skills and Qualifications:
  • Must have a high school diploma.
  • Minimum of 1+ years of IT support experience.
  • Minimum of 1+ years of networking experience.
  • CompTIA A+ and CCNA certifications are preferred.
  • Experience with devices such as, but not limited to, routers, switches, access points, antennas, network printers, ticket scanners, Starlinks is required.
  • Basic understanding of Audio/Visual equipment is required.
  • Basic understanding of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), VLANs, network layers and protocols is required.
  • Required basic understanding of VoIP phone systems. Dialpad familiarity a plus.
  • Ubiquiti wireless equipment is a plus.
  • Basic wiring understanding of Cat6, Coax, Electrical and Fiber cabling is a plus.
  • Ability to configure and troubleshoot Modems, Routers, VPNs, Wireless Controllers, AP's, DNS, and DHCP is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Office365, Azure, Windows Servers and Domain Controllers is a plus.
  • Detail oriented, organized, and able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Must maintain a high quality in all work including accuracy and timeliness.
  • Provide excellent customer service when responding to help desk requests.
  • Excellent ability to communicate effectively with clients and all levels of management both in writing and verbally.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work at a computer all day.
  • Ability to talk on the phone as needed.
  • Must be able to stand, sit, walk, bend, push, pull, run, and/or climb stairs.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Schedule is flexible but must be willing to work 10-12 weekends a year.
  • Must be able to work outdoors in extreme temperatures, including standing for long periods performing repetitive tasks with flexible break and meal periods.
