Help Desk Support

Astra Inc., a leading U.S.-based fintech infrastructure company, is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Help Desk Support specialist. This is a full-time, pert-time remote position. At Astra, we provide advanced payment APIs that enable businesses to build secure and scalable payment experiences. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing essential technical support and ensuring a seamless user experience. We offer a competitive salary of $28,000 - $37,000 USD per annum, dependent on experience.

Responsibilities

 

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance via our ticketing system, email, and other communication channels.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to our payment APIs and platform in a timely and efficient manner.
• Meticulously document all customer interactions, technical issues, and resolutions within our help desk software.
• Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams, such as engineering or product development, ensuring a clear handover of information.
• Maintain clear and proactive communication with customers, providing regular updates on the status of their support requests.
   

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a technical support, IT help desk, or similar customer-facing role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, 
• Previous experience within the fintech or financial services sector would be a significant advantage.
• A self-motivated and organized individual, capable of working effectively in a remote team environment.
• A strong commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience.
