Job Overview
The Help Desk Technician provides IT support to a benefit plan administrator with 40 employees. In addition to the Help Desk, this position also performs other technical and administrative duties related to computers and technology.
Duties
- Answers and responds to Help Desk inquiries by providing technical support
- Provides technical support to the AVAYA telephone system
- Maintains & responds to Monday Board (work management platform) inquiries
- Updates and processes electronic registrations
- Generates reports and forms
Qualifications
- HS/GED + coursework in computer sciences or information technology is required - Three (3) years post-entry level experience, experience in benefit fund office preferred
- Proficient in MS Office Suite. Familiarity with Quadient, USPS Gateway & Fed Ex Web
- Excellent communication and organization skills, and attention to detail required
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds +/- unassisted

The successful candidate must agree to join the International Organization of Masters, Mates & Pilots and, respectively, pay initiation of union dues.
