Position Summary
Verigon is seeking a skilled IT Help Desk Technician to support our fast‑paced electronic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will provide front‑line technical support for end users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, administer core IT systems, and ensure smooth daily operations across all production and office environments. This role requires strong hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies, networking fundamentals, and enterprise IT support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1–2 technical support for end users via ticketing system, phone, and in-person assistance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Windows 11 workstations, printers, scanners, and specialty manufacturing devices.
- Administer and maintain Active Directory (user accounts, groups, permissions, password resets).
- Manage Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and security/compliance features.
- Support and maintain DNS, DHCP, group policies, and other core infrastructure services.
- Assist with SonicWall firewall administration, including VPN setups, user access, and basic troubleshooting.
- Install, configure, and update software, hardware, and operating systems.
- Document procedures, resolutions, and system configurations.
- Monitor system performance and escalate issues as needed.
- Participate in IT projects such as system upgrades, deployments, and security initiatives.
- Maintain strong customer service and communication with employees and department managers.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and manufacturing requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of professional IT help desk or technical support experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Hands-on experience with:
- Active Directory administration
- Microsoft 365 management
- Windows 11 OS configuration and troubleshooting
- DNS & DHCP configuration and troubleshooting
- SonicWall firewalls and VPN
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, Wi-Fi).
- Experience supporting users in a mixed office/manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tickets, and work independently.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ERP/MES systems used in manufacturing (e.g., FactoryLogix).
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and ticketing systems.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance frameworks.

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
