Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated pet sitters for overnight and drop-in services in the listed service areas. This role is ideal for retirees or individuals seeking part-time, flexible work. There is no guaranteed minimum number of hours; assignments depend on client needs and your availability. This position is enjoyable and easy—an opportunity to meet a variety of animals and wonderful clients.

Important Availability Requirements (please read before applying)

• This position is not compatible with a separate full-time job or any commitment that requires you to be away from a client’s home for long periods during overnight stays.
• While overnighting, sitters must remain on the property and generally cannot be away from the home for 4–5 hours or more per day. Short errands are permitted, but prolonged absences are not.
• If you have other obligations that could interrupt consecutive overnight assignments (for example, becoming unavailable partway through a 3–5 night stay), this position is not a fit.

Responsibilities:

• Overnight pet sitting at clients’ homes (multiple consecutive nights when scheduled)
• Drop-in visits as assigned
• Follow company standards and client instructions; represent Curly Tail Care professionally

Requirements:

• Must love animals of all kinds
• Reliable, punctual, professional appearance (uniform polo provided for meet & greets and business functions)
• Own a reliable vehicle and a smartphone with working GPS
• Good communication skills; team-player attitude
• Agree to a Non-Compete Agreement

• Pet service certifications a plus (company will pay for Pet CPR classes)

Compensation & Classification:

• Independent contractor (1099)
• 60% of total invoice paid to sitter
• Payments via bank transfer or Venmo
• Note: Gas and tolls are not reimbursed
