For the past 5 years, Bentley’s Legacy has been providing structured off-leash adventure camp for dogs who deserve more than just a walk around the block. We’re looking for a reliable, experienced, dog-loving human to join the team for our busy season — with opportunity for long-term/full-time growth.

WHAT THE JOB ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE:

You’ll pick up dogs, lead group off-leash hikes on private land, supervise safe play and socialization, reinforce good manners, and make sure every pup comes home tired, fulfilled, and living their best life.

Translation:You become camp counselor, trail guide, referee, therapist, snack holder, and occasional mud wrestler.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

✔ Experienced with dogs and comfortable handling groups

✔ Understands canine body language and behavior

✔ Reliable and punctual (non-negotiable)

✔ Comfortable working outdoors in all weather

✔ Calm under pressure and able to manage excitement safely

✔ Has a sense of humor because dogs absolutely do

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE IN: Dog daycare Training Kennel/vet work Pet sitting Animal care in general

POSITION DETAILS:

• Paid training starts NOW
• Running camp solo June–August
• 3-4 month commitment
• Potential future full-time position available

FAIR WARNING:This job is not for someone who wants to scroll their phone all day. It’s active, fast-paced, physically demanding, and very dog-heavy.

But if you’re the right person? You’ll spend your summer hiking with dogs for a living.
