Job Description:
- Serves as the primary point of contact with the Government. Provides leadership and oversight for IT support services and related ITIL processes, ensuring they are executed efficiently and consistently.
- Responsible for guiding knowledge management as well as training and workforce development initiatives.
- Works closely with service managers, technical and operational leads, the service desk, and other contractors and providers to ensure smooth, coordinated service delivery across the environment.
- The helpdesk lead is responsible for reviewing and approving technical solutions and developing effective schedules for the program.
- Manage program/project schedules and resources to ensure deliverables meet government schedules.
- Resolve all issues/problems, allocate resources, manage project personnel, and manage project operations/performance.
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
- Develop and present In-Process Review (IPR) slides on a quarterly basis for all open projects supported by this contract.
- Prepare and provide ad hoc slides for management and attend meetings as required.
Qualifications (Must Haves):
- Ten (10) years of relevant experience managing IT Support Services.
- ITIL Certification: ITIL 4 Foundation, ITIL 4 Managing Professional, ITIL 4 Strategic Leader, ITIL 4 Practice Manager, ITIL 4 Extension Modules, ITIL 4 Master
- Demonstrated understanding and implementation of ITIL principles.
- Demonstrated experience managing teams of IT professionals with a mobile workforce.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, business management, information systems, information technology, engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Must be a US Citizen with an active Public Trust clearance, or the ability of attaining one.
