Helper for Geotechnical

Job Title: Geotechnical Helper

Job Summary:
The Geotechnical Helper assists geotechnical engineers, technicians, and drilling crews in conducting soil investigations, field testing, sampling, and site preparation activities. The role involves supporting field operations, handling equipment and materials, and ensuring safe and efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with soil sampling, borehole drilling, and field testing activities.
• Prepare and maintain tools, equipment, and testing materials.
• Support geotechnical technicians during site investigations and laboratory sample handling.
• Load, unload, and transport equipment and materials to project sites.
• Help maintain accurate records of field activities and sample identification.
• Ensure work areas are kept clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Assist in site setup, traffic control, and other general labor tasks as required.
• Report equipment issues or safety concerns to supervisors.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous construction, drilling, or fieldwork experience is an advantage.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy equipment.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
• Basic understanding of workplace safety practices.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
