Job Vacancy: Helper (Offset Printing Press)

We are looking for a Printing Machine Helper who assists the Machine Operator in the setup, operation, and maintenance of printing equipment. This role is responsible for preparing materials, handling finished products, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting efficient production while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Machine Operator with machine setup, changeovers, and production runs.
• Load and unload paper, boards, inks, plates, and other printing materials.
• Monitor material flow and ensure uninterrupted machine operation.
• Inspect printed products for basic quality issues and report any defects.
• Stack, count, pack, and move finished products to designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of machines and work areas according to housekeeping standards.
• Assist with machine cleaning, lubrication, and routine maintenance activities.
• Follow production schedules, quality requirements, and safety procedures.
• Help reduce material waste and improve production efficiency.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Production Supervisor or Machine Operator.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a printing press or manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Ability to lift and move paper stocks and production materials.
• Good teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.
• Willing to work shifts, overtime, and weekends when required.
