Hematology/Oncology Physician

Position Overview

A well established facility in Washington is seeking a Board-Certified Hematologist/Oncologist for a long-term, stable locum assignment providing full-time weekday coverage with no call responsibilities. The role offers an ideal balance of patient care and administrative time, with providers working four clinical days and one admin day per week to prepare for the upcoming clinic schedule.

This is a nine-month engagement with strong potential for extension, providing both consistency and schedule predictability.

The total earning potential over the full assignment is $700K, placing this position within the top 10% of Hematology/Oncology locum compensation nationwide.

Assignment Highlights

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

• Admin Day: Tuesday (no patient contact; documentation/prep)

• Call: None required

• Settings: Outpatient primary, with optional inpatient rounding

• Patient Load: 15 patients/day

• Team: Collaborative model with oncologists, radiation oncologists, and APPs

• EMR: Epic (experience required)

• Travel & Lodging: Prepaid and reimbursed

• Malpractice Insurance: Provided

• All orientation hours billable

• Joint Commission-certified agency

Skills & Experience

• Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology - required

• Active Washington State medical license - required at time of presentation

• Active DEA - required

• Minimum 3 years of oncology experience preferred

• Epic EMR experience required
