Job Company: Paddle Ride Adventure Location: Herbster & Washburn, Wisconsin (Apostle Islands region) Season: July & August (peak season – full commitment required) About the Role We are hiring motivated, high-energy kayak guides to lead 2-hour and 4-hour Lake Superior sea cave tours. This is not a casual summer job—this is for individuals who want to work hard, make money, and operate at a professional level in a fast-paced guiding environment. You’ll be guiding on one of the most iconic bodies of water in the Midwest, working long days, managing groups, and delivering safe, memorable experiences on Lake Superior. Schedule & Commitment Full-time only (July & August) 7 days/week availability required Typical day starts around 8:00 AM and runs into evening No time off for festivals, concerts, or personal trips during peak season Expect long days and physically demanding work Responsibilities Lead guided kayak tours along Lake Superior shoreline and sea caves Conduct safety briefings and manage group dynamics Load/unload kayaks and gear (repetitive lifting required) Monitor weather and water conditions Deliver a professional, engaging guest experience Maintain equipment and staging areas Requirements ACA Level 3 (Coastal Kayaking) preferred (training available for the right candidate) CPR / First Aid certification (required) Valid driver’s license (required)
