We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious individual to join us as an HGV Artic Driver and play a crucial role in our success. *Please note, this job will involve nights out, so any candidates applying for this position must be willing to do nights out.*

Job Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate articulated vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
• Adhere to all road safety regulations, company policies, and FORS Gold standards at all times.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle's roadworthiness and compliance.
• Load security to prevent damage during transportation.
• Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries while considering traffic and weather conditions.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with customers.
• Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle issues promptly to the appropriate authorities and supervisors.

Requirements:

• Valid Class C+E (Class 1) driving license.
• Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanour.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Flexible schedule and a willingness to work nights out, and occasional weekends if required.
