We’re looking for reliable and experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers to join our afters/night trunking team, with start times between 12 noon/1300hrs. With our modern fleet and custom-built warehousing facility just off J34 of the M1, there’s never been a better time to get on board

Summary Due to further company growth,We are seeking a professional Class 1 Driver to join our team at DBL Logistics in Sheffield. This role is vital in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods across our service areas. Join us and contribute to a company that values performance and people.

£38,090 per year (based on 50 hours/week)

Responsibilities

• Trunking to and from our regional hubs
• Yard Shunting
• Driving Class 1 double deck trailers safely and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients..
• Uphold company standards for safety and customer service.
• Qualifications
• Proven experience as a delivery or truck driver, preferably with Double Deck Trailers
• Minimum 1 year holding a Class 1 HGV licence
• Valid CPC and clean driving record (no disqualifications)
• Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
• Ability to perform vehicle inspections.
• Good communication skills.
