CLASS 1 TIPPER DRIVERS

We are seeking a professional HGV Class 1 Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to all safety regulations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers with a strong focus on commercial driving and delivery services.

Duties

• Operate flatbed lorries and other HGV Class 1 vehicles in compliance with legal and company standards
• Conduct pre-journey safety checks and ensure the vehicle is roadworthy before departure
• Deliver goods to specified locations, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries
• Secure loads properly using appropriate equipment to prevent movement during transit
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
• Follow all traffic laws and company policies during transportation
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules or issues
• Assist with loading and unloading when necessary, adhering to health and safety guidelines

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence with a clean driving record
• Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with flatbed vehicles or similar equipment
• Delivery driver experience is highly desirable
• Good knowledge of UK roads and traffic regulations
• Ability to operate flatbed lorries safely and efficiently
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and professional attitude
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
