The Role

You will be responsible for transporting high-value mobile battery banks, generators and assisting with basic setup on-site.

This role suits experienced HGV Class 1 drivers who are comfortable working independently, take pride in their work, and are confident handling specialist equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Transporting mobile battery banks, generators and fuel pods across the UK
• Positioning units safely and accurately on-site using truck mounted cranes (HIAB)
• Assisting with basic setup and operational checks
• Completing paperwork and compliance checks
• Maintaining high safety and professional standards
• Communicating with operations team and site contacts

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with CPC
• Minimum 2 years’ HGV Class 1 driving experience (required)
• Applicants must hold a HIAB licence or be willing to be trained
• Experience with tramping / long-distance driving
• No more than 6 points on driving licence
• Good level of mechanical awareness and problem-solving ability
• Professional, reliable and able to work independently
• Applicants must hold ADR Licence (class 3 and 9 in packages) or willing to be trained and sit exams to gain ADR qualification
