HGV Class 1 C+E Tramper Bulk Aggregates Tipper Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled HGV Class 1 Tramper Bulk Aggregates Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various destinations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage delivery schedules effectively. If you have experience in commercial driving, particularly with tipping vehicles, we would love to hear from you. We are looking for Monday to Friday Tramper drivers required 4 to 5 nights out in a week. Vehicles equipped with fridge and microwave. Night out allowance, weekly paid, self employed welcome. This is permanent long term commitment job, no HS2. Immediate start available.

Responsibilities

• Operate lorries in compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies.
• Ensure the safe loading and unloading of goods, securing loads appropriately for transport.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery numbers and any issues encountered during transit.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or questions from clients.

Requirements

• Valid UK driving C+E licence with a clean driving record.
• Experience as a tipper delivery driver or in commercial driving roles is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with tipper lorries and the specific requirements for securing loads is advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A commitment to safety and adherence to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Must be over 30 years old and no more than 7 points on the driving license.
