About the role

We are looking for self-motivated individuals to work within our team at Charlton Adam. We have a well-established Transport Fleet of modern vehicles in order to provide high quality service to our customers. We operate both artic and draw bar vehicles with crane off load, delivering to customer sites and yards.

Job Description

We have expand our fleet, we are recruiting site/yard delivery drivers with C+E (Class 1) licence is required to drive our Drawbar vehicles, delivering to both sites and yards.

Requirements of our C+E Class 1 HGV Drivers:

· Customer driven approach with a professional attitude is essential.

· Full and in date CPC card.

· Clean full UK driving licence and Digital Tacho card.

· Applicants must hold a valid C+E licence with a current CPC and drivers’ card.

Responsibilities of our Class 1 HGV Drivers:

· Comply with all EU regulated hours.

· You must carry out early regulatory vehicle checks and a further vehicle check at the end of the day through our reporting software for defect reporting and walk round checks.

· Take direction from the Transport Office regarding customer deliveries so that you manage your own time to ensure that deliveries are made on time and complete the paper work associated.

· Your vehicle must be kept clean and presentable at all times inside and out.

· You must maintain the safety and security of the load, adhering to all loading policies and report any issues arising to the Transport Manager.

· Safety boots and Hi Viz are to be worn at all times when in the yard and on site.
