HGV Class 1 Driver

This role is working for a thriving business based in West Bromwich, using curtain side and flatbed trailers for general haulage, mainly for the construction industry. Products we move include steel, timber and precast concrete. Hilltop Transport were taken over in 2019 and have grown steadily since that point.

This job requires a confident person with a minimum of 2 years class 1 driving experience, who is able to deal with customers face to face in a confident and polite manner.

Ideally you will have steel experience and 2 nights out per week out will be required as part of this role. There is a requirement for some sheeting using bungee's, training will be provided if necessary.

The job is Monday to Friday and would suit a tramper (take home would be mimimum £882 a week if tramping), or someone happy to do 2 night outs per week (minimum take home £750 on 2 nights out).
