The Role

You’ll be collecting palletised freight from customers before completing trunking runs into our hub in Lichfield – structured, straightforward work with a clear routine.

• Start time typically 14:00 (flexibility required)
• Occasional earlier starts depending on operations
• Covering the opposite shift during holidays/absence
• Overtime available – flexibility expected (it is Transport after all!)

What We Need From You

• Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Driver CPC
• Minimum 1 year experience preferred
• Reliable, professional, and team-focused
• Willing to be flexible when needed (shift cover & overtime)

Your Day-to-Day

• Vehicle checks & defect reporting
• Safe and secure loading
• Efficient trunking runs
• Using handheld devices
• Professional interaction with customers
• Following Drivers’ Hours & safety regulations

Pay

• £15.05 per hour (30 hour guaranteed minimum)
• £15.25 per hour (overtime)
• Saturday (optional): £125 minimum / £16.20 after 8 hours
• Sunday/Bank Holiday (optional): £150 minimum / £18.65 after 8 hours
• Quarterly bonus: £200
• Annual pay review
