We are now looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our flexible driver pool, taking on rotating day and night shifts across our client network in and around Glasgow.

The Role
This is a flexible, mixed HGV Class 1 driving role covering both day and night shifts across a variety of client operations. Work is varied and may include trunking, distribution, and general haulage depending on client requirements. Ideal for an experienced Class 1 driver who wants variety in their work and the freedom to manage their own availability.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operating articulated HGV vehicles across day and night shift assignments
• Trunking, distribution and mixed haulage work depending on client needs
• Safe coupling and uncoupling of trailers where required
• Securing loads and ensuring full compliance with transport regulations
• Carrying out daily vehicle and trailer checks before every shift
• Completing electronic and paper-based documentation as required
• Following driver hours, WTD, and company safety procedures
• Representing Drivers Connect LTD professionally across all client sites

What You'll Need

• Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) Licence
• Up-to-date Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of driver hours and WTD regulations
• Flexibility to work rotating day and night shifts
• Reliable, safety-focused and professional attitude
