Job Description

With a growing workload and being awarded new contracts, we are currently seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations nationwide in a safe and timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring it is secure for transportation
• Perform routine vehicle daily walk around checks; reporting any defects
• Communicate with the Transport Office to update on delivery status
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle daily walk around checks.

Experience, Skills and Knowledge

• A minimum of 1 year commercial driving
• Class 1 licence, valid CPC, Digi card
• Good understanding of EU and Working Time Directive Drivers Hours regulations
• Must have the “can do” attitude
• Flexible approach to work
• Additional Shifts Available
• A good knowledge of Health & Safety standards
• An excellent customer facing and communicational skills.
• Excellent time-keeping skills.
