HGV Class 1 Driver Monday to Friday Days

We are expanding our team we are looking for new HGV Class 1 Drivers for our late shifts. with hours starting from 1400 to finish, working Monday to Friday.

Applicants must have at least 2 years experience in class 1 and held there licence for a minimum of 2 years with a clean UK Driving Licence with a in date CPC card.

Driver will be delivering and collecting palatalised goods over the south east ok UK including Hub Runs using double deck curtain sided trailers.

We are family run business based in Grays Essex we are looking for someone with good working attitude who puts our customers first, to be polite and courteous and efficient with a professional attitude at all times.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations.
• Transport goods to various locations while maintaining delivery schedules.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and reliability.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and logs as required by regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status and any issues encountered.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: £43,200.00-£52,500.00 per year
