HGV Class 1 Driver Nights (Temp) – Blackburn

Job Title: Class 1 / HGV Driver / LGV Driver / C+E Class 1 Driver

Salary: £34,203 per annum pro rata (six month contract)

Shift Patterns: Nights Monday – Friday, 41.25 hours per week, varied start times

We are looking for an experienced Class 1 Driver to join the logistics team here at GAP Plastics on a six month contract, transporting goods from our Blackburn depot to various sites across the group network. You will provide a first-class service delivering stock to our depots, ensuring all rules and regulations are adhered to.

• Type: Temp - six months
• Salary: £34,203 pro rata

Requirements:

• Class 1 Licence
• Forklift Licence – Desired
• Physically able to break down stillages/pallets and load/unload vehicles.
• No DR/DG penalty points.

Main responsibilities:

• Ensure all drivers’ hours rules & regulations are adhered to.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects to the Transport Administrator.
• Delivering stock and made-to-order products to our depots.
• Manually loading/unloading of stock.
