Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and reliable Class 1 Store Delivery Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service. Responsibilities

• Safely operate flatbed lorries and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods across designated routes
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
• Load and unload pallets appropriately using electric pallet trucks, ensuring the safe transit of goods
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during operations
• Assist with loading and unloading when necessary, ensuring proper handling of goods
• Report any vehicle issues or accidents promptly to management for swift resolution

Skills

• Proven experience in driving commercial vehicles, particularly flatbed lorries
• Strong knowledge of driving regulations and safety standards within the UK
• Delivery driver experience with a track record of punctuality and reliability
• Excellent organisational skills to manage schedules efficiently
• Good communication skills for liaising with clients and team members
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including loading and securing cargo
• Valid driving licence suitable for operating heavy goods vehicles (HGV)
