Responsibilities:

• Safely operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle in compliance with all traffic laws and company regulations
• Transport goods and materials efficiently and securely to their destinations
• Plan routes and ensure timely deliveries, considering factors such as traffic, weather conditions, and load requirements
• Carry out pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any queries or concerns in a professional and courteous manner

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 1 license /minimum 6 months experience
• Up to date CPC
• Previous experience as an HGV driver, preferably in a similar role
• Driving record with no serious convictions or accidents
• Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws
• Strong attention to detail and good time management skills
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to do up to 5 nights out in the lorry if required
