HGV Class 1 Driver tramper

Overview
We are seeking a professional HGV Class 1 Driver with flatbed experience to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across various locations, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high standards of safety and customer service. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers with a strong focus on reliability and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles, including flatbed lorries, in compliance with all legal and safety regulations
• Conduct pre-journey checks to ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness
• Deliver goods to designated locations, ensuring accurate and timely drop-offs
• Secure loads properly, especially when handling flatbed deliveries, to prevent movement during transit
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
• Follow all driving regulations and company policies at all times
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules or issues
• Assist with loading and unloading as required, adhering to health and safety standards

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles
• Strong understanding of driving regulations and safety procedures for HGV drivers
• Delivery driver experience is highly desirable, demonstrating reliability and punctuality
• Excellent driving skills with a clean driving licence for HGV Class 1 vehicles
• Ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading/unloading cargo safely
• Good organisational skills to manage schedules efficiently
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £800.00-£1,100.00 per week
