HGV Class 1 Driver tramper

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, delivering and collection good between customer sites. Up to 5 deliveries/collections per shift, trunking between our national sites and general haulage work.

Responsibilities

• Operate a curtain sided lorry to transport goods safely and efficiently to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required.
• Communicate effectively with the transport regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
• Load and unload pallets and freight, ensuring proper securing of loads for safe transport.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the lorry.

Requirements

• HGV Licence Class 1
• Valid Digi Tacho & DCPC card
• Minimum 6 months’ experience
• No more than 6 penalty points
• Good communication skills & a team-focused attitude
• Be away for 4 nights per week
