HGV Class 1 experienced HIAB Driver/operator

Truck Driver & hiab operator

Duties:

- unlimited crane/hiab licence with experience in moving portable accommodation and moving machinery
- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Plan and execute delivery routes efficiently and effectively
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding delivery schedules, paperwork, and customer service

Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements
- Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents in the past three years
- Proven experience as a truck driver or similar role preferred
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards
- Ability to operate a variety of trucks and trailers safely and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and heavy lifting or loading/unloading as required
