Bannister Transport is committed to revolutionising the logistics industry through sustainable practices. Recognising the environmental impact of conventional logistics methods, the company has embarked on an ambitious journey to transition its fleet of diesel-powered trailers to electric-powered alternatives. By the end of 2026, Bannister Transport aims to achieve zero-emission from its trailer fleet, setting new standards for environmental responsibility in the sector. In addition have welcomed our first 2 fully Electric Units, creating two 100% Electric Combinations capable of delivering our customers products with Zero tailpipe emissions with a further planned expansion of our Zero Emission Fleet.

Due to further growth we are actively seeking HGV Class 1 drivers to come and join our team of professional drivers to deliver these essential items to supermarkets on night shifts.

We offer our drivers a flexible working pattern whether you want to maximise your earnings by working a 5 day/6 day fortnightly shift pattern, or are just looking for a top up with a couple of shifts per week you will be made very welcome.

We currently have a multiple vacancies across days, nights and afternoon shifts.

Our office team are also on hand 24/7 to give advice on routing, places to stop, places to fuel etc.

The rewards available vary depending on the shift pattern you do but below are some of the basics.

Day Shift - £153.30 per shift weekdays. Saturday & Sunday - £172.20. Meal Allowance £10 per shift (tax free)

Night Shifts - £169.05 per shift weeknights. Saturday & Sunday -£184.80 per shift at the weekend. Meal Allowance £10 per shift (tax free)

Night out allowance £25 tax free.

Bonus Scheme - up to £50 per week (pro rate for less than 5 shifts) for safe and fuel efficient driving (computer monitored).

28 days holiday pay for full year including Bank Holidays
