HGV Class 1 Night Trunk Driver Palletline

HGV Class 1 Night trunk driver required to work on our Palletline Fleet.

This full time role is Monday to Friday with your shift ending on a Saturday morning and is a permanent position on nights.

The shift will consist of a period of the loading of your double deck trailer using an FLT or the shunting of vehicles around the depot. You will then depart at a specified time to arrive at one of our hubs in either Birmingham, Coventry or Haydock.

The shift will have a start time around 18:00 finishing at around 05:00, all hours are paid excluding a daily 45 minute break.

Previous experience would be an advantage but a full training package will be provided for the right candidate.

Immediate starts are available, an in-date CPC qualification, Digi Card and a Cat C+E licence is essential.

A clean licence is desired, but no more than 3 penalty points need apply.

The Drivers duties include:

• Adhering to Health & Safety rules on all sites we visit and wearing the appropriate PPE.
• Always representing the company in a professional way.
• Load security to a high standard.
• Completing and recording daily vehicle checks on the drivers PDA.
• Punctuality and reliability are extremely important.
• Common sense is an essential requirement.

The right candidate must have their own transport and ideally live close to S12 2AX.
