HGV Class 2 Delivery Driver

• Working for an event hire business based in North London.
• Location: N8 (Hornsey)
• Minimum age 21 due to insurance purposes
• No more than 3 points on Licence due to insurance purposes

Temporary to Permanent Role

• £765.00 per week rising to £807.50 after a qualifying period of 10 weeks
• You will need to hold a Class 2 licence & current CPC & Tacho Card
• Newly qualified HGV drivers welcomed
• Shifts are 9 hours in length but can vary depending on the days schedule (half and hour unpaid lunch)
• The business operates as shift system (Early/Mid/Late) 7 days a week - so you will need to been available to work weekends on a rota system.
• You would need to be flexible and prepared to drive any vehicle in their fleet (18t/7.5t/3.5t) depending on their workload.
• You would also need to be prepared to help, from time to time, within the business warehouse in periods where the need arises. However, your role is predominantly driving based.
• Loading and unloading vehicles both onsite and offsite.
• The role involves heavy lifting so you will need to be physically fit.
