Summary

We are seeking a dedicated HGV Class 2 Driver, ideally with skip loader experience to join our team in the Stratford Upon Avon area. This role is vital in ensuring the efficient collection and transportation of waste materials, supporting our mission to deliver reliable and eco-friendly waste management services.
Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all road safety regulations.
• Load and unload waste materials using skip loader equipment when required.
• Deliver waste containers to designated sites promptly and professionally.
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections and wheel torque checks to ensure safety standards.
• Maintain accurate delivery and collection records.
• Communicate effectively with office and site personnel to coordinate daily operations.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Adhere to company policies and risk and method statements.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and good condition of company vehicles.
• Qualifications
• Valid HGV Class 2 driving license.
• Proven experience with commercial driving.
• Ideally proven experience with waste collection.
• Familiarity with skip loader operations is highly desirable, but training can be given.
• Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to waste transportation.
• Previous experience in delivery driving is advantageous.
