HGV Class 2 Hiab driver

We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver to join our busy builders merchant team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering building materials safely and efficiently to customers across the local area while providing excellent customer service at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a Class 2 HIAB vehicle safely and professionally
• Delivering building materials to residential and commercial sites
• Loading and unloading materials using HIAB crane equipment
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with transport regulations
• Maintaining accurate delivery paperwork
• Providing excellent customer service on every delivery

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid HIAB certification
• CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
• Previous experience within builders merchants or construction deliveries preferred
• Good knowledge of safe loading and lifting procedures
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious
