HGV Class 2 Lorry Driver - Pallet Network Multi Drop North London - Days

We are a first-rate road transport and logistics company based Waltham Abbey. We are in partnership with the UK's largest pallet network: TPN and offer palletised freight distribution, same-day deliveries and general haulage.

Job Description:

• Multi Drop Deliveries - North London
• To manage all jobs in a timely professional way, escalating any issues to the Office.
• Liaise politely and professionally with customers and the office.
• Complete daily vehicle checks
• Attend toolbox talks when required
• Report all accidents or damage, however minor, to the Company immediately.
• Report near misses, unsafe act and unsafe conditions that he/she witnesses immediately.
• Ensure that you have the correct paperwork, equipment and information for the start of your shift
• Drive within the law and site rules and keep within working time/driving regulations for drivers taking the correct rest breaks
• Ensure that all lifting and manoeuvring of product is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures
• Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety and environmental requirements to ensure own and safety of others
• Handle any hazardous materials in an appropriate manner

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience driving in London
• Pallet Network experience
• Professional and polite with good communication skills
• Good work ethic
• Honest
• Reliable
• Full current HGV class 2 Driving license & Driver CPC

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £38,000.00 per year
