HGV Class 2 Multi Drop Driver

Overview
We are seeking a professional HGV Class 2 Multi Drop Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely across designated routes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers with a focus on customer service and operational excellence. The position involves driving curtain side lorries and managing multiple drops throughout the working day, requiring a strong commitment to safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure the lorry is in safe working order before departure
• Safely operate HGV Class 2 vehicles, including tail lift lorries, adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies
• Deliver goods to multiple customer locations in a timely manner, ensuring accurate order fulfilment
• Assist with loading and unloading cargo, maintaining proper handling procedures
• Complete all necessary delivery documentation accurately and promptly
• Maintain a professional demeanour when interacting with customers during deliveries
• Follow planned routes efficiently, adapting as necessary for traffic or route changes
• Report any vehicle issues or delivery discrepancies to management immediately
• Working fay 07:30 - 17:30

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence with relevant driving experience in commercial driving or delivery roles
• Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with multi-drop routes
• Knowledge of tail lift vehicle operation is desirable but not essential; training will be provided if required
• Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively during deliveries
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude towards customers and colleagues
• Ability to lift and handle goods safely, complying with health and safety regulations

Pay: £14.00 per hour
