HGV Class 2 Trade Waste, RoRo And Skip Driver

Due to an incredible further expansion Fresco Environmental Ltd are looking for experienced and reliable HGV 2 drivers to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating our fleet of hook loaders, skip lorry, and trade waste vehicles, carrying out the safe and efficient delivery and collection of skips, roll-on/roll-off containers, and wheelie bins.

We are looking for reliable, professional drivers who takes pride in their work, that look after their vehicle and understand the importance of polite and excellent customer service at our customer’s sites.

Pay & Benefits:

• £15.50 per hour starting rate
• £50 weekly incentive bonus / bin bonus @ 0.20p per bin
• Hourly rate increases to £16.00 after a successful probationary period
• Regular overtime opportunities paid at 1.5 after 40hrs
• Local routes (within 30-mile radius)
• Modern 2024 Scania vehicle provided

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver and collect skips, RoRo containers, and wheelie bins to and from customer sites
• Operate skip, trade, hookloader lorries safely and in compliance with regulations
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report any defects
• Provide excellent customer service while representing the company
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently and on schedule

About you:

• Reliable with a strong work ethic to do a good day’s work of which you will be financially rewarded
• Valid HGV licence (Class 2 – Class 1 an advantage but not a requirement for the role)
• Proven experience operating skip, hookloader and trade vehicles
• Good knowledge of driving regulations and safety procedures
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Polite, smart appearance
