HGV Driver

Due to continued growth, we are currently recruiting Class 1 drivers.

This is more than a standard driving role. You will be an active and valued member of the crew, transporting plant equipment and at times operating as a tipper driver with skill and precision. This role is suited to hands-on individuals who want to be involved in the job, not just observe it.

Typical Responsibilities

- Loading and unloading plant equipment across the UK

- Operating as a tipper driver on site and delivering road planings to tip

- Working with your transport coordinator to plan efficient routes

- Complying with Road Transport and Tachograph driving rules and regulations.

- Ensuring all loads are secure and safe

- Conducting daily vehicle checks and minor maintenance (e.g. oil, coolant, bulbs)

- Completion and submitting required paperwork: (e.g. electronic waste transfer notes, fuel receipts, timesheets)

Working Pattern

This role requires someone who is flexible and adaptable to change.

Minimum of 5 shifts in every 7 days (Monday to Sunday)

Includes nights out, night shifts, and alternative weekend working

We operate 24/7, and while work is planned, changes can happen.

Rates of Pay

Class 1

Day: £196

Night: £237

Saturday: £257

Sunday: £292

Requirements

Valid HGV Driving Licence
