HGV Driver (C + E Licence)

Main purpose of Job

Deliver and collect aggregates allocated by Logistics Office team in safe and efficient manner. Adhere to Company Driver Handbook, Policies and Procedures.

Key responsibilities:

• The completion of daily vehicle checks and correct defect reporting, to ensure we always remain legal and compliant.
• Good understanding and knowledge of Tachograph rules and regulations.
• Ensuring safe and timely deliveries to our customers.
• Be a good ambassador for the Company both on the road and on site.
• Tipping and bagged aggregate deliveries.

Person specification and required skills:

• Must be eligible to work in the UK.
• Hold C+E Licence.
• Reliable, able to prioritise workload.
• Tipping experience is preferrable, but not essential.
• Have methodical approach.
• A professional, positive and flexible attitude at all times.
• This role requires the use of a tablet to complete daily walk round submissions and other associated software to complete deliveries.

Working times/hours: 10 hours per day between 0600 and 1800 Monday to Friday. 0630-1130 alternate Saturdays.
