HGV Driver (Class 1 C+E)

We are looking for a reliable HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver to join our small friendly team based near Guyhirn, Cambridgeshire. The role will involve a mixture of straw trailer work and digestate tankering, operating within the agricultural and anaerobic digestion sectors.

This is steady, long-term work with a supportive team and well-maintained vehicles. Experience with straw trailers and digestate tankers is preferred, although training can be provided for the right candidate.

The Role

• Operating straw trailers and digestate tankers
• Working on farms, AD plants, and agricultural sites
• Completing daily vehicle walkaround checks using Tachomaster
• Completing defect reporting and basic paperwork accurately
• Following site rules, environmental controls, and safe systems of work
• Occasional nights out required as part of the role

What We’re Looking For

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid Driver CPC and Tachograph card
• Minimum 1 year HGV driving experience
• Straw trailer and tanker experience desirable but not essential
• Good attitude towards safety, compliance, and teamwork
• Reliable, professional, and flexible approach to work
• Willingness to work occasional bank holidays when required, with time off in lieu provided
