HGV Driver day work

Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and reliable HGV Driver Class 1 or Class 2 to join our firm.

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining our standards of safety and vehicle care. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers with a focus on commercial driving.

Duties

• Operate flatbed and/or curtainsider lorries to transport goods
• Ensure the secure loading and unloading of cargo
• Conduct daily vehicle checks
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation
• Communicate effectively with the transport office

Qualifications

• Proven experience, preferably with 2 years commercial driving experience
• Valid driving license suitable for LGV/HGV vehicles
• Strong knowledge of driving regulations and safety standards within the UK
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail in managing schedules and documentation
• Good communication skills for liaising with clients and team members

Pay: £725.00-£1,095.00 per week
