Virginia Transport (UK) Ltd is currently seeking highly motivated and professional HGV Drivers to join our UK Tramper Team.

Position Details

· Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
(Following successful completion of a 6-month probationary period)

· Location: Tamworth Yard

· Salary: Competitive salary depending on role and experience

· Work Authorisation: Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom

Daily Responsibilities - All drivers will be expected to:

· Complete all daily vehicle and trailer safety checks

· Correctly follow driver hours and tachograph regulations

· Drive safely and courteously at all times

· Follow all site safety rules and wear required PPE

· Maintain collection and delivery schedules set by the planning office

· Communicate promptly and accurately with the planning and transport office

· Ensure vehicles and equipment are kept clean and maintained to a high standard

Essential Requirements - Applicants must have:

· A full, clean C+E driving licence

· Valid Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card

· Good communication skills with a competent level of English

· A minimum of 18 months’ traceable HGV driving experience

· A reliable, flexible, and adaptable approach to work

· Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure

· A positive attitude with willingness to learn

· Good knowledge of Road Traffic and Health & Safety legislation

Desirable Experience - The following would be considered an advantage:

· Experience in refrigerated (fridge) transport work

· Previous experience within the haulage and logistics industry
