HGV HIAB CLASS 1 TRAMPER DRIVER

Overview
We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Duties

• Operate hiab lorries to deliver goods to clients and distribution centres.
• Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to road safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring it is in safe working condition.
• Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit and unload goods upon arrival at destination.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status.
• Follow all legal requirements related to driving hours, load limits, and safety standards.
• Report any vehicle issues or accidents promptly to management for immediate action.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with Hiab crane lorries
• Strong driving skills
• Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for cargo securement.
• Excellent organisational skills to plan routes and manage delivery schedules efficiently.
• Ability to operate various types of commercial vehicles safely and responsibly.
• Good communication skills for liaising with clients, dispatchers, and team members.

Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
