HGV RoRo Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a professional HGV RoRo Class 2 Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting goods safely and efficiently across Hampshire. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers to utilise their skills in a dynamic environment, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high standards of safety and customer service.

Duties

• Operate RoRo lorry in compliance with all legal and safety regulations
• Safely load, secure, and unload goods, ensuring they are protected during transit
• Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet schedules and optimise fuel consumption
• Conduct vehicle inspections prior to each shift, reporting any defects or maintenance needs
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
• Adhere to all road safety laws and company policies at all times

Experience

• Proven experience as a RoRo driver is a must
• Strong driving skills with a clean driving licence for HGV Class 2 vehicles
• Experience in delivery operations, including route planning and time management
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations related to commercial driving
• Familiarity with vehicle maintenance checks and basic troubleshooting is advantageous

Pay: £17.00 per hour
