Job Overview
GFA is seeking a skilled Hi-lo Driver to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating high-lift equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods within the warehouse. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Hi-lo Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting overall warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate hi-lo equipment safely and efficiently to move products within the warehouse.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Utilize RF scanners for tracking inventory and order picking processes.
• Assist with order picking and packing as needed, ensuring accuracy in fulfillment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to OSHA safety standards.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and address any operational challenges.
• Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to avoid injury.
• Participate in regular training sessions on warehouse management systems and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Hi-lo Driver or similar role within a warehouse environment.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and order picking processes.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to operate cherry pickers and other material handling equipment effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the shift.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Previous experience in warehouse supervision or management is a plus but not required.
