We are seeking a passionate and dedicated High School Math Teacher to inspire and educate students in a dynamic learning environment. Duties
- Design and deliver engaging lessons covering topics such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, discrete math, and differential equations.
- Develop curriculum materials that align with educational standards and incorporate innovative learning technology tools.
- Assess student progress through standardized testing, quizzes, projects, and class participation; provide constructive feedback to support improvement.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment that encourages participation and respect.
- Mentor students individually or in small groups through tutoring sessions or academic advising to reinforce concepts and boost confidence.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional design, and school-wide initiatives to enhance educational quality.
- Incorporate scientific research methods and laboratory experiences when applicable to subjects like biochemistry, microbiology, molecular biology, genetics, or dissection activities.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to higher education teaching techniques, special education needs, or Montessori methods as appropriate.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred.
- Experience is Key
- Proven classroom experience teaching high school mathematics with a strong record of student engagement and success.
- Expertise in core mathematical disciplines including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, discrete math, and differential equations.
- Familiarity with learning technology platforms and instructional design for diverse learners.
- Experience working with students of varying abilities, including those requiring special education accommodations or behavioral management strategies.
- Strong communication skills for effective instruction, mentoring, and collaboration with staff and parents.
- Laboratory experience or research laboratory experience in scientific subjects such as biochemistry or microbiology is advantageous.
- Knowledge of standardized testing procedures and curriculum development best practices.

Pay: $45,915.80 - $48,000.00 per year
