High School Math Teacher for August 2026 Start

Middle/High School Math Teacher (For Start in August 2026)


The American Baccalaureate School (ABS) is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Middle/High School Math Teacher for an immediate start. The teacher will inspire students in grades 6–12 through engaging instruction, problem-solving, and a strong college-preparatory mathematics curriculum.


Responsibilities

  • Teach mathematics courses across grades 6–12.
  • Plan and deliver lessons aligned with ABS curriculum standards and learning objectives.
  • Promote logical reasoning, critical thinking, and mathematical confidence in the classroom.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles.
  • Design and assess assignments, projects, and assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents.
  • Integrate appropriate instructional technology and real-world applications to enhance learning.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, professional development activities, and school initiatives.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Valid teaching license/certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of successful mathematics teaching experience (preferred).
  • Strong classroom management, organization, and communication skills.
