High School Mathematics Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Mathematics Teacher to inspire and educate students in a dynamic academic environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong subject matter expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning atmosphere. This role involves delivering engaging lessons, developing curriculum, and supporting students’ academic growth in mathematics and related sciences.

Duties

• Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, covering topics such as Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, SAT/ACT Math Prep
• Develop and adapt curriculum materials to meet diverse learning needs, including special education considerations.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a respectful and productive learning environment.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of Mathematics including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Discrete Math, Differential Equations, and Proofreading skills for instructional materials.
• Proficiency in integrating learning technology into classroom instruction and lesson planning.
• Effective classroom management skills coupled with behavior management techniques.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging students of varying abilities and backgrounds.
• Demonstrated experience working with students in diverse settings; prior classroom experience preferred.
• Experience with standardized testing preparation and instructional design tailored to individual student needs.
• Background in higher education teaching or private school experience is advantageous.

Job Type: Part-time
