Job Title: High School CBSE Mathematics Teacher

Job Summary:

A High School CBSE Mathematics Teacher is responsible for teaching Mathematics to students of Grades VI–X following the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) curriculum. The teacher ensures conceptual clarity, problem-solving skills, and thorough preparation for board examinations while fostering logical reasoning and analytical thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver lessons in accordance with CBSE curriculum guidelines.
• Teach subjects such as Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Probability, Statistics, Matrices, and Coordinate Geometry (as per grade level).
• Prepare students for CBSE Board Examinations (Class VIand Class X).
• Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, question papers, and sample papers aligned with CBSE pattern.
• Conduct regular assessments, unit tests, pre-boards, and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain student records, grades, and progress reports.
• Identify learning gaps and provide remedial coaching where required.
• Integrate technology and activity-based learning methods to enhance understanding.
• Maintain classroom discipline and encourage a positive learning environment.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, and school academic planning.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics (B.Sc./B.A. in Mathematics).
• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) – Mandatory.
• CTET/TET qualification (preferred as per school requirements).
• Strong understanding of CBSE syllabus and examination pattern.
• Prior teaching experience (preferred 2–5 years for senior secondary level).
