Job Summary:

A High School Teacher is responsible for teaching students of Grades VI–X, planning lessons, assessing student performance, and creating a positive and disciplined learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons according to the prescribed curriculum.

Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments.

Conduct unit tests, assignments, and examinations.

Evaluate answer scripts and maintain accurate academic records.

Monitor students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.

Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe learning environment.

Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.

Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance.

Support co-curricular and extracurricular activities.

Follow school policies and educational guidelines.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant subject.

B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory.

Master’s Degree preferred for senior secondary classes.

Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience (preferred).

Skills Required:

Strong subject knowledge.

Good communication and presentation skills.

Classroom management skills.

Ability to motivate and guide students.

Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with digital teaching tools.

Working Conditions:

Full-time position.

School working hours as per institution policy.

May require participation in school functions or extra classes.
