High Voltage Transmission Line Technician (OHTL)

We are seeking a High Voltage Overhead Transmission Line Technician (OHTL) with proven hands on experience in HV/EHV transmission line works. The ideal candidate must be SEC approved or previously approved by Saudi Electricity Company (SEC), with supporting documents preferred. This role supports field execution for overhead line and tower related activities while ensuring strict compliance with HSE requirements, quality standards, and project schedules.

Skills

• Strong hands on experience in HV/EHV Overhead Transmission Lines (OHTL) installation and maintenance.
• Solid knowledge of transmission line components: insulators, fittings/hardware, conductors, clamps, spacers, dampers, earthing/bonding.
• High commitment to HSE compliance and safe work practices (PTW, JSA, LOTO, working at height).
• Ability to work effectively at heights and in challenging field environments (remote sites, heat, long shifts).
• Good understanding of method statements, ITPs, and basic quality documentation.
• Basic troubleshooting skills and ability to identify/raise technical issues early.
• Teamwork and coordination with supervisors, riggers, and crew members to meet schedule targets.
• Clear communication and daily reporting (progress, hazards, constraints).
• Self discipline, reliability, and strong work ethic under project pressure.
• Preferably: Working at Height / Rescue, First Aid, and relevant safety certifications.
